Bully Alert! Dallas Mayor Boyd Austin Contacts The Employer Of His Political Opponent.

Boyd Austin, Mayor of Dallas

This past week, Dallas Mayor Boyd Austin contacted the employer of his political opponent Marvin Tingler to make allegations that Mr. Tingler was campaigning during his work hours. I’m sure Georgia Tech (Marvin’s employer) appreciates Mayor Austin (UGA Grad) looking out for them. It is a sad day when local citizens can not exercise their constitutional right to run for elected office without having their careers and livelihood threatened by a bully politician who is desperate to hang on to power after 16 years in office. Below is a copy of the letter from Georgia Tech detailing the phone call made by Mayor Austin.

16 years is to long for anyone to hold a political office. The fine people of Dallas should send Mr. Austin his walking papers. His actions suggest his concern is no longer for the city of Dallas, but his own political well being. Boot out Boyd! I would if I lived the city limits.

It’s none of his business what the other guy does while he is on his job, Mr Boyd needs to sweep under his own door step before he starts sweeping under someone elses! I have to agree, there should be a “4 yr limit” on City and County positions or whatever you want to call it. He needs to be replaced and we need to get the “Good Ol Boys” out of these positions!

I do not live in the city of Dallas, but if so, I would vote for Boyd Austin. Does a fine job. If doing a good job, why change. If I do a good job at my work, in 16 years someone came and said you need to go, you have worked good but for too long; don’t think that would fly very well.
